Steeped bags are a simple and elegant way to present a selection of the coffees we find most exciting, removing many brewing variables, and allowing quality and character to shine.

Individual doses are ground and sealed in nitrogen-flushed packages, maintaining the clear aromatic character of freshly ground coffee, for over a year after roasting.

Washed Pink Bourbon

Lizardo Herrera

It is our fifth year working with Lizardo Herrera in Huila; this carefully fermented washed lot is composed of the Pink Bourbon varietal. This varietal is known for its high quality and distinct aromatic character in the cup. Lizardo's fermentation ties both together in a juicy and complex cup, with layers of sweet ripe fruit.

Natural Sidra

El Bocadillo

A new lot by our friend Herbert Peñaloza and his 575 Café project in Tolima, a meticulously produced natural Sidra. The careful fermentation and many steps of processing leads to a cup with deep and sweet dark chocolate and cherry notes, with an enhanced mouthfeel and clean aftertaste, but without the ‘artificial’ and ‘overripe’ notes we often associate with heavily fermented coffees.

Washed Geisha

Daisy Acevedo

This lot of washed Geisha, with its bright floral and citrus aromas, is our first purchase from Daisy Acevedo and her farm El Encanto. El Encanto is a haven for plants and wildlife, as Daisy is a biologist with big focus on a sustainable production. She even brought the first Geisha seeds back from Panama herself, to great bewonderment for her father Gustavo, from whom we have bought coffees several times. The Geisha characteristics shines through, with bright citrus aromas and a floral honey sweetness in the cup.
